Last weekend I visited an open day for the Berlin school of fashion and art, called KUNSTHOCHSCHULE, Berlin Weissensee.
The school runs a broad range of creative courses ranging from architecture, film, product design, graphic design, illustration, and fashion and textiles all under a big red-tiled roof. After seeing this schools fashion parade previously in Berlin, it was a sheer delight to flip through the pages of the students portfolios and sketchbooks, spilling with inspiration, drawings and concept development for their final year collections.
I thought I'd post up some various images of their work on display as it was rather impressive. You may recognize one of the fashion sketches, being an outfit I snapped on the catwalk recently (the blue and coral red scheme).
What was one of my favorite works on display was by textile designer Nadine Hensel, who has worked on many fashion projects already and is definitely someone very talented to look out for!.
